I have now finished my final page 2 story. After making a few alterations I have been able to follow the conventions of a local newspaper and ensure the bottom story has two columns. This page two now can be identified as a newspaper page and follows conventions which my target audience will expect to see in a local newspaper. Also the story involving a shoplifter being caught is within the proximity of the newspaper means that the audience can relate to it.
